Mitchell Moses earns Man of the Match honours after a dominant performance.

"It was a good performance, we started the way we wanted to," Moses told Nine.

"We earned the right to play footy, we defended well first. I thought we just had a simple game plan and we stuck to it. Some silly stuff in the second half hurt us.

"I asked a couple of the AFL boys before I came out here what it's like to kick. I came out here early to get a feel of my surroundings.

"It's a good feeling, but it was a team performance. The forwards laid an outstanding platform and our back five were unbelievable."

The halfback finished with four try assists in an impeccable display in attack, while standing up in defence with 23 tackles.
